
Back in San Juan visiting Dad. As always, have to make it to Old San Juan. This time we went up to San Cristobal fortress which is east of El Morro. Had a great time with Dad, Luisa and Miriam.

The coastal area between San Juan and Loiza is called Piñones. Here are some photos taken on Saturday afternoon. it was a beautiful day.

Lula's Empanadillas de Jueyes, are a tradition in Loiza. She has been cooking them for over 40 years!

A sunday afternoon drive to the El Yunque Rainforest followed by a quick stop at Luquillo Beach. All these photos are taken with an iPhone 6S Plus. Stay tuned for more photos with my dSLR.

Monday afternoon we drove about 10 miles and went to Luquillo beach. it is one of Puerto Rico's most famous, and amazingly, had some crystal clear water! having been raised in PR and been to quite a few beaches, it is not common to find such crystalline water.

On Veteran's Day, Friday November 11, 2016, we went to Old San Juan to spend an afternoon walking and enjoying the views. As always, I love to photograph the beautiful streets, alleys, windows, buildings and magnificent bay views. Here are some of my favorites from this trip to Puerto Rico!

This is the place to eat "Empanadas de Jueyes". No, not argentinian, but puerto rican! They are delicious. She is living history in Loiza, where my dad was born.

The "Playa de Naguabo" is located in the south east corner of the island. Since these photos, it has been renovated. It is a popular destination to go to eat fresh seafood.
