Our cruise arrived in Barcelona Wednesday morning April 18. We took a taxi from the cruise terminal to our hotel where we rested. Afterwards we explored the neighborhood around our hotel, had breakfast, and finally did some laundry! On Thursday we took the metro to Plaza Catalunya and walked around the Ramblas.
A visit to Mont Juic and the Magic Fountain. From Mont Juic you can see breathtaking views of the city of Barcelona and the Mediterranean Sea. The Magic Fountain can be seen every evening after sundown.
On our 4th day in Barcelona we visited the incredible Sagrada Familia Cathedral. The cathedral is a must and should be on everyone's bucket list. You will be totally impressed with all the detail and incredible siize of the ceilings. The stained glass windows are vibrant and colorful. After that we visited Parc Guell where you can view some views of the city and enjoy Gaudi's art.
Sunday & Monday we decided to take the hop on hop off bus tour. Here are some views from our bus ride. Sunday we did the red & green buses. Monday we did the blue bus.
Our last day in Barcelona we went to the Gothic Quarter. There we visited the Picasso Museum. Afterwards we walked to the Parc de la Citadella where we found a beautiful fountain. Fantastic day!
